01/13/2025, 10:22The net profit of banks in Kyrgyzstan is growing. Over the first eleven months of this year, they earned nearly 30 billion KGS — 29 billion 54 million 856 thousand KGS. This is 6 billion KGS more than the same period last year, reflecting a 26% increase.
Mbank and "Aiyl Bank" earned the most, with their combined net profit accounting for 44.3% of the total profit of all banks. Mbank's income amounted to 6.5 billion KGS, while "Aiyl Bank" earned 6.3 billion KGS. The third place goes to "Eldik Bank", which recorded a net profit of 4.2 billion KGS.
"Demir Bank", KICB, "Optima Bank", and "Bakai Bank" earned between 1.8 billion KGS and 2.9 billion KGS.
It is worth noting that none of the banks operated at a loss. The lowest profit was recorded by "Eurasian Savings Bank", with 9.2 million KGS. Notably, last year, "Kyrgyzkommertsbank" reported a loss of 14.8 million KGS, but this year the bank achieved a net profit of 41.8 million KGS.
Compared to last year, profits increased significantly for Mbank and "Eldik Bank". At the same time, profits declined substantially for "Optima Bank" (-707.7 million KGS), "Demir Bank" (-414.5 million KGS), "O!Bank" (-196.9 million KGS), "Kompanion Bank" (-147.6 million KGS), "Bank of Asia" (-129.9 million KGS), "Eurasian Savings Bank" (-106.1 million KGS), "Dos-Credobank" (-55 million KGS), and "Tolubay Bank" (-25.1 million KGS).
