UPT is the first national global money transfer and payment platform in Turkey that allows you to send and receive money to/from your bank account or credit card domestically and internationally in multiple currencies. The platform allows you to send money from more than 10 thousand locations in Turkey and receive it in cash at more than 400 thousand locations worldwide. Who can perform a UPT transaction? - Any natural person who has reached the age of majority according to the applicable regulations of the respective country can send and receive money through UPT, regardless of having a bank account. What are the transaction limits for transferring money through UPT service points? - Instant transfers can be made up to a maximum of 60,000 Turkish Lira, 10,000 USD or 10,000 Euro. What is the transfer fee? - The fee is 3 USD for transfers up to 400 USD, and above 400 USD it is 0.95% of the euro equivalent amount. What is the maximum time required to complete a payment transaction? - Transfer to an international account is completed within the next business day if the transaction is completed before 16:30, and within the second business day if the transaction is completed later than 16:30 or on a non-business day. UPT's country restrictions : 1) All countries with restrictions on financial transfers by the Office of Foreign Assets Control, the ECB, the UN, the UK Treasury and the Central Bank of Turkey, 2) Armenia, 3) Areas of the Republic of Azerbaijan captured by Armenian forces, as referred to in United Nations Resolution Nos. 822, 853, 874, 884, 4) Cyprus (excluding Northern Cyprus).
