    Akylbek Zhaparov has inspected key infrastructure facilities in Osh

    During his working trip to the Osh region, the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov familiarised himself with several significant facilities in Osh. 

    One of the first objects he visited was a municipal market under construction in the southern capital. Its area is 7 hectares, designed for 2,500 trading places. So far, 70% of construction works have been completed.

    Next, the Prime Minister visited the stadium named after A. Suyumbayev, where he was informed about the completion of the installation of a canopy over the stands. Paving tiles have also been laid, lighting has been modernised, and a running track and a hybrid football pitch have been built by international standards.

    During the trip, Akylbek Zhaparov also visited the Monitoring Centre of the Patrol and Checkpoint Service of the Police Department of the Osh Directorate of Internal Affairs. Since 16 September, the project ‘Safe City’ with the introduction of automatic devices for fixing traffic violations has been operating here. There are 60 video surveillance cameras installed in the city, which record photo and video violations, and automatically issue fines.

    Following the visit to the facilities, the official provided a number of instructions to the relevant state and municipal bodies to improve their work.
