    The National Bank's assets in gold have increased by almost 75 billion KGS

    The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan's gold assets increased by 74 billion 908 million KGS over the year, according to the regulator's financial statements for the third quarter of 2024.

    The total volume of gold in the bank's assets reached 187 billion 48.2 million KGS, which is 66.8% more compared to last year. At the same time, the volume of non-monetary gold and reserves in precious metals of the National Bank decreased by 18 billion 396.6 million KGS, from 146.7 billion KGS to 128.3 billion KGS.

    Overall, the National Bank's assets increased by 115.9 billion KGS over the year, reaching 522 billion 83.8 million KGS. This growth was mainly due to the increase in gold, and the regulator's funds in cash, banks and other financial organisations, which amount rose to 135 billion 783. 5 million KGS.
