The founder of Binance CZ has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, a significant step towards promoting blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption in the region.

According to an official statement, the partnership aims to jointly promote the development of the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem in Kyrgyzstan. The memorandum of understanding outlines plans for infrastructure and technical support, professional advisory services and implementation of educational initiatives related to blockchain and digital assets.

«I have been advising several countries both formally and informally to help develop regulatory frameworks for cryptocurrencies and promote the use of blockchain to improve government efficiency and expand the application of blockchain to broader areas beyond transactions. I think this work is very meaningful», — Changpeng Zhao commented on the initiative.

The agreement reflects Kyrgyzstan's growing interest in digital innovation and positions the country as a potential regional centre for Web3 development.
