    Employees of municipal bodies were trained on how to submit a unified tax return

    The State Tax Service has organised a training seminar for employees of state and municipal bodies as part of the campaign to accept the unified tax return (UTR) for 2024. 

    During the training, STS specialists explained in detail the procedure for completing and submitting the declaration, paying special attention to digital tools that make the declaration process more convenient and accessible. They demonstrated software modules for electronic filling of the UND, analysed typical mistakes made when filing the declaration, and discussed issues of liability for late or incorrect submission of data.

    Such training events help civil servants to better orientate themselves in tax legislation and facilitate the declaration process, increasing its transparency and efficiency.

    Recall that pensioners, housewives, students and other citizens, as well as persons engaged in scientific, creative, teaching or recreational activities are exempt from filing a declaration.
    Meanwhile, the obligation to file a tax return remains for certain categories of citizens.

    Until 1 April 2025 are obliged to file: domestic organisation, except for those financed from the budget and having no property tax liabilities for the reporting tax period, foreign organisation operating in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the formation of a permanent establishment, state and municipal employees.

    Individual entrepreneurs, individuals working on the basis of a patent or in a trade zone with a special regime, citizens of the KR employed in international organisations, diplomatic and consular offices of foreign states in the country and individuals who have received taxable income and have income tax liabilities are obliged to file until 1 May 2025.
