    Eurasian Savings Bank decided not to distribute profits based on 2024 results

    At annual general shareholders meeting of Eurasian Savings Bank OJSC, which was held on March 27, shareholders decided to leave the net profit, received by the results of 2024, at the disposal of the bank and credit it to the account of retained earnings.

    The bank's annual report for 2024 has not been published yet, however, according to the financial statements for the fourth quarter, net profit of Eurasian Savings Bank OJSC according to the standards of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic amounted to 151 million 216 thousand KGS. This is 11.35% lower than the figure for 2023, when the profit reached 170 million 624 thousand KGS.

    The meeting was held with a quorum of 71.45% and included an extensive agenda of 13 items. In addition to the issue of profit distribution, the shareholders approved:

    • the Management Board's report on financial and economic activities for 2024;
    • the external auditor's report;
    • annual financial statements;
    • report of the Board of Directors;
    • budget and cost estimates for 2025;

    Regulations on the Board of Directors and the updated Corporate Governance Code.

    The external auditor for 2025 was also elected and the amount of his remuneration was determined.

    The only issue on which no decision was made was the introduction of amendments to the Bank's Charter.
