The SCNS KR within the framework of the ongoing work to identify illegal privatisation of state property and return it to state ownership revealed the fact of violation of the procedure in force at the time and illegal transfer of an administrative building in Bishkek to private ownership.

In the course of the investigation it was established that the mentioned administrative building was owned by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic and was transferred to private ownership in violation of the procedure established by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As a result of investigative and operational activities, the owner of a part of the above-mentioned facility recognised the illegality of possession and use of this property. In this regard, he decided to return the part of the building with a total area of more than 300 square metres, which was in his use, to the state.

Work is currently under way to return the second part of the building, which houses a billiard club and a guest house. To ensure the legality and restoration of state property, a lawsuit will be initiated with a request to the judicial authorities to return the state property in the form of a part of the building.
