For seven months the budget received 136 million 888.7 thousand soms in the form of tax on gambling activities. Such data is given by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic.

The lion's share of these revenues is taxes paid by casinos, 129 million 92.2 thousand soms. Bookmaker offices are in second place in terms of taxes paid. From January to July they added 7 million soms to the treasury.

The remaining amount went to the budget from the tax on gambling activities of slot machines and virtual casinos. Moreover, online casinos contributed only 1.5 thousand soms.

It should be added that compared to last year, casinos transferred to the treasury almost 4 times more (in the same period of 2023 - 32.55 million soms), and bookmakers - 6.7 times (1.05 million soms).
