01/27/2025, 15:09In Kyrgyzstan, 35 thousand 441 people lost their jobs in the first nine months of 2024. However, 38 thousand 708 people were hired. Thus, 3 thousand 367 new workers appeared in the labor market.
Most of all workers in the period under review were dismissed from such spheres as: wholesale and retail trade - 9 thousand 537 people, industry - 8 thousand 303 people, and education - 6 thousand 746 people.
To be fair, it should be said that these sectors hired most of all: trade - 9 thousand 458 people, industry - 8 thousand 783 people, and education - 7 thousand 904 people.
As a result, by the end of September there were 1 thousand 251 vacancies in the economy. The greatest number of personnel was required in industry - 429 people.
It should be noted that the largest labor market in the Eurasian Economic Union is Russia. There were 2.7 million vacancies there at the end of September.
