The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and Shanghai Municipality at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.
Kyrgyzstan's stand presented the products of 14 export-oriented companies representing various sectors of the economy: dried fruits, nuts, mushrooms, honey and alcoholic products, felt, handicrafts, confectionery products and a fashion brand of clothing. This is an important step towards developing the country's export potential and strengthening economic ties with China and other countries.
The organization of the national stand was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers and the initiative of the Kyrgyz Export Development and Support Center under the Ministry of Economy.
In addition, Kyrgyzstan's participation in the exhibition was supported by the Trade Representation of Kyrgyzstan in China.
The exhibition attracted more than 450 thousand participants from more than 130 countries. The event featured a variety of meetings, seminars, conferences and round tables, which contributed to the development of foreign trade and strengthening of international business ties.
Participation in CIIE opens new opportunities for Kyrgyz companies to find potential buyers and conclude foreign trade contracts. In particular, the Kyrgyz Export Center organized a series of B2B meetings where domestic enterprises were able to establish partnerships with Chinese and foreign partners, discuss terms of cooperation and conclude agreements on the supply of goods.
