The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) hosted a demonstration of the project of the national ‘single window’ mechanism, organised by the state enterprise ‘Single Window Centre for Foreign Trade’ under the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan.

The event was attended by representatives of the EEC, customs services, public authorities, and business circles of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries involved in the "single window" facilities development.

The CD presented the interagency information interaction and the successes achieved in implementing the Single Window mechanism, including the automation of the process of issuing permits for foreign economic activities and integration into the common EAEU processes. The role of the Trade Information Portal of Kyrgyzstan, created to simplify trade procedures, was also emphasised.

In addition, attention was paid to the practical aspects of the work of information resources of our republic within the ‘single window’ project. After the event, the participants discussed topical aspects and challenges in this mechanism development.

We would like to add that the decision of the EEC Council of 5 April 2021 defined the directions for the Strategy-2025 implementation, one of which is the organisation of demonstration events for pilot projects on the national single window mechanisms implementation to ensure compatibility and data exchange.
