Kyrgyzstan explores digital tax solutions from Estonia and the Czech Republic

The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan continues the course of digitalization, studying the best European practices. A delegation of the agency headed by Chairman Almambet Shykmamatov visited the Czech Republic and Estonia to learn from experience in the field of electronic tax administration.

In Prague, Kyrgyz representatives were received by the head of the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic, Simona Homochova, as well as a delegation from the Ministry of Finance. During the visit, negotiations were held with leading Czech IT-companies in the tax sphere, including DATASYS, DATASYS EM and CZ. The main topic of discussion was the introduction of electronic document flow and automation of interaction between tax authorities and business.

In Estonia, Shykmamatov and his team visited the headquarters of Nortal, an international company specializing in digital transformation in the public sector. Estonia is known for its innovations in tax administration, including reducing bureaucratic barriers, increasing transparency of public services and automating tax control.

Kyrgyzstan plans to adapt the best European solutions to optimize tax processes, reduce administrative costs and simplify interaction between government and business. The introduction of modern technologies into the country's tax system remains one of the key priorities of the STS.
