02/24/2025, 15:01A meeting took place in the session hall of the capital's city hall between Mayor Aybek Dzhunushaliyev and a delegation from the Russian Federation led by State Duma Deputy Sergey Kolunov. The discussion focused on the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Bishkek and the Russian Federation, particularly the implementation of various city infrastructure development projects. At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed gratitude for the conversation and hope for further mutually beneficial cooperation. As of today, the Bishkek city hall has worked on the following bilateral documents with Russian cities: Agreements on the Establishment of Sister City Relations: - Chelyabinsk – June 15, 2018 - Yekaterinburg – December 8, 2022 - Ufa – July 13, 2017 Agreements on the Establishment of Partnership Relations: - Chelyabinsk Region – July 20, 2017 - Saint Petersburg – November 24, 2015 - Kazan – September 3, 1998 - Moscow – July 5, 2017 - Miass – September 7, 1993
A meeting between Aibek Junushaliev and a Russian delegation led by State Duma deputy Sergey Kolunov took place in the conference hall of the capital's Mayor's Office.
They discussed issues related to the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Bishkek and Russia, particularly the implementation of several urban infrastructure development projects.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their gratitude for the discussion and hope for further mutually beneficial cooperation.
As of today, the Mayor's Office of Bishkek has established twinning relations with Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg and Ufa.
As well as agreements on establishing partnership relations with the Chelyabinsk region, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Moscow and Miass.
