10/15/2024, 08:07On 14 October, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and Commerce organised a practical meeting in Tokmak with representatives of local self-government bodies. The event was held by order of the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov and aimed at strengthening interaction between local and central authorities.
Two key developments were presented at the meeting: a methodology for creating socio-economic development programmes to guide local authorities in implementing sustainable development strategies, and an initiative to improve the quality and accessibility of public services for citizens.
These innovations are designed to optimise the work of local authorities, create real improvements in the lives of the population and reduce the gap between the regions and the centre in terms of development and service delivery.
