For qualitative preparation for the upcoming heating season 2025—2026, the municipal enterprise «Bishkekteploset» conducted the first, preliminary stage of hydraulic tests on the density and strength of the main heat networks.

During the tests, more than 40 damages of different nature were preliminarily identified, of which 7 were significant, the rest were medium defects. The damages were detected on the sections of heating mains with diameter from 500 to 900 millimetres.

The first stage of tests is preparatory and is conducted to assess the condition of heating networks before the main tests and major repair works. All identified damages that may affect the success of the second stage of hydraulic tests will be repaired by 19 May 2025.
The main hydraulic tests are planned to be carried out at the end of May 2025 after the completion of the repair works.

The tests are a necessary measure to ensure reliable and uninterrupted heat supply in the upcoming heating season.
