The turnover of cryptocurrency transactions in Kyrgyzstan has increased by 166%

For 7 months this year, the total turnover of service providers of virtual assets in the Kyrgyz Republic amounted to 375.9 billion KGS. At the same time, tax revenues from crypto exchangers and crypto exchanges amounted to 92.2 million KGS, and from mining companies - 30.7 million KGS.

In July 2024 alone, the volume of transactions with virtual assets, including purchase, sale and exchange, reached 26.1 billion KGS, 166% more than in the analogous period of 2023 (9.8 billion KGS).
