At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh today, 5 March, during the consideration of the issue «miscellaneous» deputies raised issues of socio-economic nature.

In particular, MP Talaybek Masabirov voiced the request of the staff of the pre-school educational institution in the village of Arslanbob Bazar—Korgon district to allocate funds for the repayment of arrears in payment of their wages.

Deputy Baktybek Choibekov noted that during meetings with deputies of local councils of Talas oblast, the issue of the need to increase the salaries of technical and junior staff in educational institutions was repeatedly raised. Along with this, he emphasised the importance of supporting agrarians on the eve of spring field work.

MP Parhat Tulendybaev highlighted the issue of acute shortage of kindergartens, especially in Bishkek.

«I would like to appeal to the government with a request to sort out the situation and find a way to solve the issue of financing the construction of pre-school institutions in the newly annexed districts of Bishkek», — he said.

Deputy Yrysbek Atazhanov raised the problems of development of social infrastructure facilities of Moldo-Niyaz ayil okmotu of Kadamjai district. He asked to include the construction of a modern school, a bridge and a hospital in this aiyl aimag in the list of capital investments.

MP Elvira Surabaldiyeva pointed out the problematic issues and demands of the residents of Pervomaisky district. She asked the City Mayor's Office to reduce or eliminate the penalty for late payment for water supply services. As the MP said, residents of the new building ‘Kalys-Ordo’ addressed her on this issue. In addition, there are requests for gasification of Ak-Bosogo residential area.

Deputy Ernis Aidaraliyev pointed out the low level of wages of junior service personnel of educational institutions of Alai district, as well as kindergarten teachers.

«Canteen workers in pre-school educational organisations receive only 4 thousand KGS, and kindergarten teachers 6 thousand KGS», — he said and asked to pay attention to the issue.

MP Jalolidin Nurbaev focused attention on the issue of increasing the supplement to pensions of mothers awarded with the order «Baatyr ene».
