Despite a 12.7% increase in nominal income compared to 2023, Kyrgyzstan's real wage growth rate, 107.3%, remains relatively low among EAEU countries. We are ahead of Kazakhstan (102.7%) and Armenia (106.1%), but lag behind Belarus with 113% and Russia with 109.1%.
And this is despite the fact that, according to the Eurasian Economic Commission, the average nominal salary in the country amounted to only $429. This is almost twice less than in Kazakhstan ($858) and more than twice lower than in Russia ($951).
