    The first online meeting of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain took place

    The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia organized the first meeting in the format of a video conference between the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Mamasadyk Bakirov and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of Bahrain Mohammed Al-Kuheiji.

    During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further development of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kingdom of Bahrain in the sphere of trade, economy, investment, financial and banking sectors.

    In particular, Mamasadyk Bakirov noted the importance of strengthening trade, economic and investment cooperation, organizing mutual visits at various levels, developing bilateral tourism and business contacts and the need to create a Kyrgyz-Bahraini business council.

    Ambassador Ulukbek Maripov spoke about the dynamics of development of relations between the two countries, noted the importance of forming the Kyrgyz-Bahraini business council in the near future, informed about the upcoming second investment forum "Central Asia + Gulf Cooperation Council", which will be held in Bishkek this summer and expressed hope that the Bahraini side will be represented in this forum at an appropriate high level with the participation of leading business circles of Bahrain, where they could get acquainted in detail with the investment potential of the republic and hold B2B meetings.

    In turn, Mohammed Al-Kuheiji thanked the Kyrgyz side for the proposals voiced and noted the importance of developing bilateral cooperation in the field of food security, trisma, establishing close contacts between the business circles of the two countries, organizing mutual visits, supported the proposal to create a Kyrgyz-Bahraini business council and form its composition.

    Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain direct contacts on a regular basis, including organizing visits at various levels and continuing joint work to create a Kyrgyz-Bahraini business council.
