The event was attended by Deputy Minister Rasul Abazbek uulu, STLI project manager A. Hoddinott (Australia), representatives of UNICEF, as well as higher education institutions that train speech therapists and defectologists.
The main topic of discussion was the current issues of training personnel working in the field of inclusive education, in particular specialists in the field of deaf pedagogy, defectology and speech therapy.
The participants of the round table emphasized the need for training and advanced training of personnel, the development of joint educational programs aimed at improving the accessibility and quality of inclusive education, providing methodological support and creating conditions for the education of children with special educational needs.
The issue of inclusive education is included in the plan of the Ministry of Education and Science for 2025. The round table resulted in a discussion of a plan for cooperation between educational organizations and an initiative to develop a comprehensive action plan for training specialists in the field of inclusive education.
