Air communication between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is resumed

Direct air service between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will be resumed from 14 March. This was announced today by President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon during his official visit to Bishkek.

The resumption of flights will be an important step in the development of bilateral relations and improving transport accessibility between the countries.

Recall that during the visit, Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed a treaty on the state border, which was a significant event in strengthening co-operation between the two countries.
