A temporary ban on the export of limestone-shell, unprocessed or roughly crushed, sawn or otherwise divided into blocks or slabs of rectangular, square shape, outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. The relevant decision was signed by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliyev.

The purpose and objectives of the decision is the rational use of irreplaceable natural resources and preventing a critical shortage of raw materials of natural stone limestone-shell on the unique deposit Zhalpak-Tash.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce is instructed to notify the World Trade Organisation and the Eurasian Economic Commission of the temporary ban no later than three days from the date of entry into force of the decree in accordance with the established procedure.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is instructed to notify the CIS Executive Committee of the introduction of the temporary ban in accordance with the established procedure.
