http://www.cbk.kg/Commercial Bank KYRGYZSTAN OJSC traces its history back to January 1, 1988 as a Kirkontora of Zhilsotsbank of the USSR, on the basis of which the Bank was established on November 06, 1990 and registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic as JSCB Kyrgyzstan. In 2005, the Bank was reorganized into JSCB Kyrgyzstan, and since November 20, 2006, the Bank has been under the current name of OJSC Commercial Bank KYRGYZSTAN, which operates under banking license No. 014 issued by the NBKR.
The Bank has also recently renewed its license for the right to conduct operations with precious metals.
To date, in all regions of Kyrgyzstan there are more than 100 subdivisions, 200 ATMs and more than 1000 terminals servicing payment cards “Visa” and “Elkart”, 5 systems of international money transfers with access to almost all countries of the world.\
Commercial Bank KYRGYZSTAN OJSC - is a principal member of Visa International payment system (Principal Member), which allows it to issue and service Visa payment cards with its own design and logo. The Bank also issues and services the local card “Elkart”.

Western Union is the world leader in money transfers, with more than 135 years of experience, as well as a vast and developed network for money transfers, and unites more than 200 countries and territories. Transfers are made in three currencies: U.S. dollars, and Kyrgyz soms.
