KGS strengthened against all major currencies, except for the euro. NBKR exchange rate

As of 17 April 2025, KGS strengthened against all major currencies, except for the euro.

According to the National Bank, the dollar exchange rate fell from 87.4492 to 87.4176 KGS - a strengthening of 0.04%. The Russian ruble lost 0.39%, the Kazakh tenge - 0.89%, and the yuan - 0.02%.

The only exception was the euro. Its rate rose from 99.1980 to 99.3851 KGS - a weakening of the national currency by 0.19%. Despite the general trend, the European currency turned out to be more stable than the others.
