Adylbek Kasymaliyev invited American investors to develop business in Kyrgyzstan

Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev, who is on a working visit to Washington, took part in a roundtable discussion with members of the Kyrgyz-American Business Council.

During the meeting, he emphasised that Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating sustainable economic growth thanks to comprehensive reforms, digitalisation and increased transparency in financial management. The Prime Minister noted that the country has been assigned a positive credit rating, which increases its investment attractiveness.

Kasymaliyev spoke about the implementation of major infrastructure projects, efforts to reduce bureaucracy and Kyrgyzstan's advantageous geographical location. He stated that American investments play an important role in the development of the economy and invited businessmen to actively cooperate.

‘Kyrgyzstan offers investors liberal tax legislation, access to large markets, protection of private property and incentives in free economic zones,’ he said.

He also outlined priority areas: the construction of the Kambarata HPP-1, the extraction and processing of minerals, and the development of tourism.

In conclusion, Adylbek Kasymaliyev thanked the participants for their interest and invited them to visit Kyrgyzstan to assess the opportunities for business and mutually beneficial cooperation on the ground.
