The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry initiated 9 credit lines to provide state support to rural producers in Kyrgyzstan aimed at technical equipment and modernization of machine and tractor stations (MTS). These programs, including Gosleasing 1-6 and EDB projects, are implemented via the OJSC “Ayil Bank” and OJSC “Eldik Bank”.

According to the OJSC “Aiyl Bank”, 6,892 units of various agricultural equipment for 17.6 billion KGS were issued to agriculture producers during the program operation. Only for 2024, 976 machinery units for 3.8 billion KGS were provided. Leasing is provided for up to 10 years with an interest rate of 6% per year.

The programs include preferential terms: the leasing term is 7 years, the interest rate is 6% per annum, and the initial payment is not less than 10% of the value of the equipment. Additional collateral is not required for payments from 20% of the down payment. Leasing operations are performed in the national currency - KGS.

With funds from donors such as the PRC, Japan and Turkey, banks have concentrated long-term credit resources to support agricultural machinery and equipment leasing. The loan repayment rate is 99.6%.
