    New personnel appointments in the Eurasian Economic Commission

    The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has made personnel changes. Three highly qualified specialists from Belarus were appointed deputy directors of departments.

    In particular, Eugeni Berezhnyeh has been appointed deputy director of the Department of Technical Regulation and Accreditation of the EEC from December 9, 2024. It is specified that he has a degree in metrology, standardization and certification, as well as economics. He started his career in 2006 at the Belarusian State Institute of Standardization and Certification.

    January 24, Valentina Nagovitsyna became Deputy Director of the Department of Customs Legislation and Law Enforcement Practice of the EEC. She graduated from Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute and later qualified as a specialist in customs affairs. In 1990, she started her professional career as a software engineer and then worked in the customs authorities of Belarus for more than 25 years.

    Finally, Alina Kazachenok took up the post of Deputy Director of the EEC Department of Competition and Public Procurement Policy. She received her education at the Belarusian State University of Economics, specializing in marketing and world economy. She underwent additional retraining at the Academy of Management under the President. Since 2012, she worked at the Ministry of Economy of Belarus and then at the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade. 

    She assumed her duties at the ECE effective January 22, 2025.
