09/14/2024, 10:11Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Junushaliev, at the invitation of Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev, is on a working visit to Minsk, Republic of Belarus. During the visit, Mayor Junushaliev participated in the opening ceremony of the International Economic Cooperation Forum. In his speech at the forum, Junushaliev emphasized the significance of international collaboration: "The successful implementation of all these projects has been greatly influenced by international cooperation. The experience of our foreign partners and participation in forums like this one allow us to adopt advanced practices and adapt them to the realities of our city. We are convinced that intercity interactions on an international level will help us achieve common goals more quickly and effectively." The Mayor of Bishkek also called on forum participants to expand cooperation: "I urge colleagues from other cities to discuss the prospects of cooperation. We are ready to work on new joint projects and cordially invite you to visit Bishkek to personally see our achievements and discuss further ways of interaction." It is noteworthy that representatives from more than 29 countries attended the International Economic Cooperation Forum. Mayor Junushaliev also had a bilateral meeting with Chairman Vladimir Kukharev of the Minsk City Executive Committee. Aibek Junushaliev expressed deep gratitude for the hospitality and the invitation to the forum's opening, highlighting the importance of developing mutually beneficial cooperation with the sister city of Minsk. "The Mayor's Office of Bishkek is interested in exchanging experiences with the Minsk City Executive Committee. Bishkek remains open to cooperation and is ready to share its successes and experiences with other cities," noted Mayor Junushaliev. At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed gratitude and hope for continued mutually beneficial cooperation and experience exchange in areas aligned with common ideas and interests.
