Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev, during his official visit to Vietnam, participated in a business meeting with the business community in Hanoi.

The event was attended by about 70 representatives of the business community working in various sectors.

During the meeting, the prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam were discussed, including attracting investments and joint projects in various sectors of the economy.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized the Kyrgyz side's interest in deepening economic ties with Vietnam, highlighting the favorable conditions for doing business and investment activities in Kyrgyzstan.

Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that over the past 4 years, as a result of the multifaceted reforms implemented under the leadership of President Sadyr Japarov, Kyrgyzstan's economic growth has demonstrated stable and progressive development. This is evidenced by an average annual GDP growth rate of 9%.

"Kyrgyzstan offers a range of benefits for foreign investors, such as tax preferences, simplified business procedures and legal protection of investors' rights. All these measures open up broad opportunities for the business community of Vietnam interested in joint projects. Our countries have significant potential for implementing initiatives and projects aimed at developing mutually beneficial relations", — he said.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers highlighted the significant potential for expanding Kyrgyz-Vietnamese partnership in areas such as agriculture and agricultural product processing, energy, including hydropower and renewable energy sources, tourism and the creation of tourism clusters, information technology and the digital economy.

During the business dialogue on investment opportunities, the director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Taalaybek Imanov, delivered a report on investment opportunities, while the Minister of Energy, Taalaybek Ibraev, presented the country's energy potential and key energy projects.

Vietnamese entrepreneurs, in turn, expressed their readiness for active cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue and explore specific initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral partnership.

During the business meeting, a ceremony was held for the signing and exchange of documents of mutual understanding.
