The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Head of the Presidential Administration, Adylbek Kasymaliev, participated in the capsule-laying ceremony for the construction of the "Global Hub" multimodal customs and logistics center in the Alamudun district of the Chuy region. In his address at the event, Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan's warehousing market is in its initial stages and there is a shortage of high-quality storage facilities in the country. 

He emphasized that the "Global Hub" customs and logistics center, whose construction has just begun, is a strategic initiative crucial to the development of Central Asia's logistics infrastructure. "Today, we are initiating the construction of a strategic project that meets the challenges of our times and is vital for the country. If the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway is completed by 2030 and the 'Bedel' checkpoint becomes fully operational, this market will grow substantially. Therefore, Kyrgyzstan must prepare now. Globally, millions of tons of goods are processed, received, and transported daily. The dynamics of import-export are constantly increasing. Building robust warehouses, logistics centers, and hubs will be a significant spur for Kyrgyzstan's economic growth," said Adylbek Kasymaliev. 

The "Global Hub" will span over 136,000 square meters, with 120,000 square meters dedicated to high-capacity warehouses. These facilities will feature temperature control systems, refrigeration units for perishable goods, and warehouses compliant with international standards for storing large quantities of pharmaceuticals. The center will also include dry and bonded storage facilities. The project's investment totals 21 million USD and will create over 100 high-paying jobs. An agreement has been signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the LLC "Alkanov Group" to realize this investment endeavor.
