Kyrgyz state-owned companies have significantly increased their capitalization in recent years

Over the past few years, large state-owned enterprises in Kyrgyzstan have significantly increased their capital. This is evidenced by data provided by the State Agency for State Property Management.

Manas International Airport, the country's main air transit hub, has increased its authorized capital from 11.7 billion KGS in 2020 to 19.5 billion KGS today, indicating active financial support for growth and infrastructure modernization.

Similarly, the capitalization of Aiyl Bank has increased significantly: its authorized capital increased from KGS 3.5 billion in 2020 to KGS 16.5 billion in 2024. More than 10 billion KGS of this increase was allocated to lending to agriculture, agribusiness development, mortgages and consumer loans, contributing to rural economic growth and financial inclusion.

Other state-owned companies, including Eldik Bank OJSC, Kyrgyzneftegaz OJSC, Kyrgyzindustria OJSC and Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC, also reflect this growth trend. Eldik Bank alone increased its capital from KGS 2.3 bln in 2020 to KGS 11.4 bln. More than 7 bln KGS received for capital increase is also used by the bank to provide loans to customers, mainly financing agriculture and agro-industrial complex.
