11/18/2024, 09:41In 2024, the state budget received 21 billion 386 million KGS of dividends. The main part of the money is the income received from large state-owned companies.
For comparison: in 2020, only 2 billion 176 million KGS were transferred to the state budget in the form of dividends, which is 19 billion KGS less than in the current year. In 2023, this indicator has significantly increased and amounted to 18.2 billion KGS.
The growth of dividend receipts became possible due to improved financial performance and increased profitability of state-owned enterprises. This became possible due to active work on optimization of the structure of state-owned enterprises. If in 2021 there were 103 state enterprises registered in the country, in 2023 their number decreased to 59. As of today, 61 state-owned enterprises continue their activities.
Special attention is paid to the reorganization and liquidation of unprofitable enterprises. In the agricultural sector, for example, there has been a significant reduction in the number of state-owned enterprises: 22 enterprises were merged into 4 large ones, which allowed to increase the efficiency of their work and reduce unnecessary administrative costs.
