For the first two months of 2025, the state budget of Kyrgyzstan received 61.6 million KGS from the tax on gambling activities. This is by 23.5 million KGS (or 62%) more than for the same period of 2024, when revenues were estimated at 38.1 million KGS). All the money was credited to the republican budget.

The main part of revenues was provided by casinos, transferring 58.8 million KGS, which is 22.7 million KGS more than a year earlier (36.1 million KGS). The rest of the revenues were distributed as follows:

• tax on gambling activities of slot machines and computer simulators - 675 thousand KGS (data for 2024 are not available);
• tax on gambling activities of bookmaker offices and totalizators - 2 million KGS (at the level of 2024);
• tax on gambling activities of online casinos and virtual casinos - 134.5 thousand KGS (no data for 2024).

Thus, we see that casinos remain the main source of tax revenues from gambling business in Kyrgyzstan and judging by the growth of tax deductions, they continue to increase their activity.
