02/20/2025, 08:43The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, has signed a decision approving the Action Plan to curb the rate of price growth for socially significant food products in 2025.
According to the document, executive government bodies and local self-government authorities are required to submit quarterly reports to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic by the 5th day of the month following the reporting period. In turn, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce will submit a consolidated report on the implementation of the Action Plan to the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic by the 10th of each quarter.
The plan aims to stabilize prices for essential goods, ensure the domestic market is sufficiently supplied with food resources, and support domestic production. The document outlines a set of measures to prevent price spikes and strengthen the resilience of the food market in 2025.
