10/29/2024, 13:34Kyrgyz manufacturers are actively exploring exports through online platforms like Wildberries. Alongside traditional export categories such as clothing and textiles, there has been a significant increase in food sales, up 111% in the third quarter of 2024. Kyrgyz entrepreneurs are successfully promoting organic and natural products, including beans, dried fruits, tea and kurut, in the international market. The Wildberries press service informed Akchabar about this.
Especially popular are Kyrgyz food sets with dried fruits, sales of which have increased by 665% year-on-year since the beginning of 2024. Sales of mountain herbal tea have increased by 227%. There has also been an increase in demand for beans (118%) and dried fruits (112%). Even specific products such as kurut (20 per cent) and jam (40 per cent) are finding their customers. Sales leaders are jam, made of pureed apricot and raspberry, and kurut from Taza Kurut.
The main markets for Kyrgyz products on Wildberries are Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, where sales grew by 18%, 24% and 64% respectively.
