10/01/2024, 14:42According to the Eurasian Economic Commission, Kyrgyzstan's consolidated budget revenues grew by 41.1% in the first six months of 2024. This is the highest indicator in the EAEU ( without accounting for Belarus).
For example, in Russia, it grew by 27.8%, in Kazakhstan - by 8.9%, in Armenia - by 7.7%. However, Kyrgyzstan demonstrated not only the highest growth in the revenue part but also overtook Armenia in terms of budget revenues, by $175.5 million.
Kyrgyzstan's consolidated budget revenues in January-June totalled 296 billion KGS, or $3.5bn, while in Armenia - 1 trillion 292 billion drams, or $3.3bn.
It is important to note that a year ago, in January-June 2023, Armenia was ahead of Kyrgyzstan in budget revenues by $600 million at the current exchange rate, and in the same period of 2022 - by almost $700 million.
