Almost 4,000 hectares of land in the Republic are leased for renewables
During July-December 2024, the Green Energy Fund concluded 42 agreements with investors for the lease of plots covering 3,964 hectares. These lands are intended for renewable energy projects: 31 plots are for small hydropower plants with a total capacity of 351.97 MW, and 11 plots are for solar power plants with a capacity of 1,634.5 MW. For six months, the lease revenues totalled 113 million KGS, while for the whole of 2023 they were equal to zero.
