Who has already managed to buy Kyrgyz gold in 2025?

In January 2025, Kyrgyzstan exported 372.6 kg of gold worth KGS 2.72 bln ($31.25 mln). This is evidenced by the data of the National Statistical Committee.

The main buyer of the precious metal was the United Kingdom, where 372 kg of gold worth KGS 2.71 billion was delivered.

In addition, a small batch of 630 grams was sent to Turkey, the transaction amounted to KGS 4.52 million ($51.7 thousand).

No shipments were made to other countries, including Switzerland and Hong Kong, in the reporting period. For comparison, in January 2024 the main buyers of gold from Kyrgyzstan in January were Switzerland and Hong Kong, (for $63.5 million and $11.3 million, respectively ) but this year there are no exports to these countries.
