In Dostuk village, Jalal-Abad region, on February 28, a capsule laying ceremony was held for the construction of new facilities of Mega Union Industry, a company specializing in the production of gypsum and gypsum board sheets.

This project promises to change the country's construction market, ensuring a stable supply of sought-after materials and creating new jobs.

The launch of additional production lines is not just a business expansion, but a contribution to the development of Kyrgyzstan's industry.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Iskender Asylkulov, who attended the ceremony, noted the importance of this project for the future economic growth of the country.

“The implementation of this project will have a positive impact on employment, improve access to quality building materials, and increase revenues for local and national budgets,” Asylkulov emphasized.

The project was made possible through cooperation with the Chinese company Hengshui Decheng Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd. Back in 2024, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan signed a memorandum with the investor, which made it possible to attract modern technology and financing.

Mega Union Industry is already bringing tangible benefits to the region. It has created more than 70 jobs for residents of Suzak district and actively uses local raw materials in its work. The company's annual contributions to the state budget amount to more than 40 million KGS.

The launch of new facilities will strengthen the company's position as a major player in the construction market and reduce the country's dependence on imported building materials.
