Inflation is expected to slow down in Kyrgyzstan, which, according to the Ministry of Finance forecasts, will lead to a decrease in its level by 2026 by 2 percentage points compared to 2023. These data are reflected in the updated document of the national budget for 2025-2026.

However, the decline in inflation should be felt already this year. The Ministry of Finance forecasts its level at 5.8%, which is much lower than the initial estimate of 6.9%.

If we compare inflation this year with 2024, it will slow down by 0.8 percentage points, and in relation to 2023 - by 1.5 percentage points. This will be a positive factor for improving the purchasing power of citizens.

In 2026, inflation is projected to decline by another 0.5 percentage points relative to 2025. However, it should be noted that its level will be 0.2 percentage points higher than initially expected in the first approved budget.
