Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration Ravshanbek Sabirov visited Kara-Suu district of Osh oblast to assess the possibility of repurposing an empty building for the needs of the social sphere. This is the building of the former lyceum in the village of Bash-Bulak, which worked as a temporary hospital during the pandemic. Since 2022, the premises have not been used.

Local residents proposed to open an interregional rehabilitation centre for people with disabilities in it. The minister, as well as representatives of local authorities, inspected the building and noted its potential for launching the project.

In addition, Sabirov held a meeting with the staff of the district department of labour and social protection. He emphasised the fight against corruption in the sphere of social support and the need to strengthen control over the distribution of aid.

"Each measure of support should reach those who really need it. Transparency and targeting is our priority," the minister emphasised.
