01/15/2025, 09:39During the three years of the Social Contract program, more than 35 thousand families across the country have signed social contracts, 221 of them in Alamudun district. Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration Ravshanbek Sabirov visited low-income families of Alamudun district participating in the program.
During the visit, the Minister got acquainted with successful examples of the program implementation. One of such stories was the family of Mederbek Abdyldabekov, who signed a social contract to open a grocery store. Thanks to the received interest-free loan of 100 thousand soms, the family was able to expand the business and today receives a stable income of up to 30 thousand soms per month.
Another example is Roza Tashmatova, who invested the received funds in buying sewing machines and creating jobs. Today, her income reaches 30,000 soms a month, and increases significantly during the season.
“With the money I earned, I bought two more sewing machines. Now we can take more orders,” Roza shared.
Sabirov said that the ministry is conducting monitoring on the instructions of the head of state to assess the effectiveness of the program and promote job creation.
“The main goal is to help people become financially independent,” he emphasized.
The Minister noted that the program covered more than 163 thousand people, helping to improve their living conditions. In the near future, the Minister plans to visit the regions to get personally acquainted with the activities of territorial divisions and the results of the program implementation.
Recall that the program launched by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov in 2022 is aimed at supporting low-income families and overcoming poverty.
