Kyrgyz nationals must promptly undertake the following mandatory procedures: register for migration with the local migration office at the place of temporary residence; undergo medical examination, official fingerprinting, and photography; enter into an employment or civil contract (for those arriving for work purposes); extend the period of temporary residence based on an employment or civil contract (by obtaining a stamp on the migration card at the migration offices) and register at the place of temporary residence.
As per the legislation of the Russian Federation, starting February 5, 2025, individuals staying in Russia in violation of these rules will be included in the "Controlled Persons Register" (database updated regularly), subjected to various restrictive measures. To avoid listing in this register or to be removed from it, the ministry urges Kyrgyz citizens to regularize their documents by April 30, 2025, and take advantage of the opportunity to resolve legal stay issues in Russia.
Citizens of Kyrgyz Republic are advised that even if they are currently not listed in the register, they should contact local migration departments of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs or the Passport and Visa Center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. Furthermore, in Moscow, they can consult the Multifunctional Migration Center at Sakharovo (MMC Sakharovo).
