Sadyr Zhaparov opened a new residential complex in Bishkek

On 11 April, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the inauguration of a new residential complex built by the State Mortgage Company in Bishkek on Chyngyz Aitmatov Street.

The head of state emphasised the importance of providing citizens with affordable housing, noting that construction of mortgage housing is actively continuing throughout Kyrgyzstan. He said: ‘Today we are on the verge of handing over a modern residential complex with 612 flats under the My House programme. This is another result of the state housing policy’.

The new complex includes six residential blocks, each of which consists of 18 floors. It is fully connected to the centralised gas, water and sewage supply systems. Heating is provided by its own boiler house, and uninterrupted power supply is guaranteed by a separate transformer substation on the territory of the complex.

The President also noted that if peace and unity are preserved in the country, the programme will continue so that thousands of citizens can take advantage of the opportunity to own their own homes.
