Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Sydykov stated about the key role of business in the development of the country and promised to continue the course of support for entrepreneurs. He said this during a meeting with representatives of the business community.

According to the Minister, the current economic growth is the result of joint work of the state and the private sector. He named tax reform, updating legislation, improving infrastructure and reducing administrative pressure as priorities.

Special attention at the meeting was paid to measures to support small and medium-sized businesses. Sydykov noted that President Sadyr Zhaparov is working on a decision to provide favourable loans for SMEs. The money is planned to be allocated from the republican budget.

Entrepreneurs voiced their ideas and problems - the minister listened and promised to take them into account in the formation of economic policy. He also urged the business community to engage in an active dialogue.
