December 5, 2024 at the plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh deputy Aida Isatbek kyzy reported that the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a decree, according to which all excise stamps on alcoholic beverages must be replaced within three days.

According to the deputy, it is impossible to fulfill such a requirement in such a short period of time, given the amount of work and complexity of the process. She emphasized that this would create significant difficulties for producers and distributors of alcoholic beverages.

In this regard, the deputy proposed to extend the deadline for the replacement of excise stamps by six months to ensure a smooth transition and avoid possible problems with the sale of products.
