A discussion of the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan until 2030 was held at the Ala-Archa state residence.

The event was attended by representatives of the presidential administration, ministries, departments, authorized representatives of the president of the Kyrgyz Republic in the regions, as well as independent experts.

The program is aimed at improving the standard of living of citizens and achieving sustainable economic growth. The main strategic objective is to increase the gross domestic product to $30 billion by 2030, which requires maintaining the rate of nominal GDP growth at 8-10% annually.

The priority areas of the program will be the creation of new jobs, industrialization, development of agriculture and agro-processing industry, tourism, energy, transport corridors and export potential, as well as the second stage of administrative-territorial reform. Social issues remain in the spotlight - improving the education and healthcare systems.
