Under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobaev, a meeting was held to discuss socio-economic development of the regions.

Presidential plenipotentiary representatives in the regions, heads of district state administrations-akims and heads of local self-government bodies participated in the meeting in online format.

The issues of transport, energy, water resources, digitalization, industry, investments, implementation of large projects, creation of new jobs, inventory, effective use of agricultural land were discussed at the meeting.

Deputy Head of the Cabinet Bakyt Torobaev gave a number of instructions, such as inventory and identification of unused enterprises, facilities and unused land plots in the regions, close cooperation with external and internal investors, active work on job creation, effective state financing.

Bakyt Torobaev noted the need for active work on the ground to develop the economy, adding that President Sadyr Zhaparov has set a task to bring the country's GDP to $30 billion by 2030.
