MP “Bishkekvodokanal” carries out preventive works at the water intake “Severny” in preparation for winter.

The day before, specialists performed works at the water intake “Severny” and adjacent water supply networks. Several gate valves were replaced at the water intake, stop valves were inspected, and cleaned and chlorinated tanks with clean water and vacuum chambers, in addition, preventive maintenance of electrical equipment was carried out.

Bishkek and part of Chui oblast receive water from 37 water intakes. The “Northern” intake supplies water to the northern part of the city.

There are 12 wells operating on its territory, which provide production and filling of reservoirs.
